We predominantly perform anthroscopic, reconstructive, osteotomy procedures and reparative procedures following trauma of the upper and lower limbs.

Dr. Porter’s academic history

Dr Porter graduated with a medical degree and Masters in Sports Medicine from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland, in addition to a Doctorate in science. He has completed the Sports Physician specialist training program (FACSP) in Australia before training as an orthopaedic surgeon (FRACS). He is also a Fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association. Dr. Porter has the highest level of academic qualification for his sub-specialty of sports orthopaedic surgery.

Sport runs deep

Dr Porter competed as an amateur and professional boxer, both nationally and internationally, for over 16 years. He has also completed 63 marathons (and counting) over the span of more than 40 years. This wealth of experience is carried into his orthopaedics practice.
